PC-PAC Presents Its
Benefactor
Seeker Quartet!
A Quartet of Seekers. Seeking whom, you may be wondering. To
begin with, you may be just the
kind of person they would like to have visit with them. Before
the Quartet is introduced, though, the PC-PAC offers a few
thoughts for your consideration.
Many ask what is Personal Choice. This may seem to be a silly
question to some of you, but why would so many ask this
question, and why would the Cause of Personal Choice pursue
political action? The Preamble of the Constitution of the
Personal Choice Party of Utah addresses this and is provided
in the column to the right for your convenience. Personal
Choice is also addressed in Article III of their Constitution
which is provided in the column to the left for your
convenience.
Within the Postamble of their Constitution it states:
The Personal Choice Party is founded with
the notion that we are not through inventing the future.
Therefore, as important as it is to learn from the past, it is
equally important not to bind ourselves to the past in ways
that might impede useful progress.
Previous pioneers and
inventors wrought marvels for the growth and advancement of
humanity. Present-day pioneers and inventors continue the
spirit of their forebears, offering improvements for today and
visions for the future.
So are Personal Choicers! For example, the Personal Choice
Party, as a new political party on the political landscape, is
not particularly the same as the others. Its dynamics vary,
such as candidates developing, expressing, and representing
their own personal opinions which define their own personal
platform and are free from the concept of representing the
platform of ideas from the political party itself, as
candidates of other parties do. Voters tussle with becoming
familiar with the candidates of other parties as individuals
versus how those candidates will represent their party's
platform of ideas. Personal Choicers, however, have the
advantage of a political party which provides an opportunity for candidates to bring a
diversity of ideas to the political landscape. Voters need
only become familiar with the candidates, themselves, and not
overly absorbed with the party.
Hence, the PC-PAC believes the
worthiness of gathering financial resources
for the Personal Choice Cause should be made available as a
choice, as an opportunity, for your
consideration. If you have an
appreciation of what the future can be by supporting the Cause
now, the Benefactor Seeker Quartet hopes you
will visit with them.

PREAMBLE
of the Constitution of the Personal
Choice Party of Utah ---
With a decent respect to the opinions of humanity, many
of us are compelled to declare that we are sickened by
government meddling in our personal choices. We hold
among our inalienable rights, the individual rights to
life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. We hold
that as long as we do not endanger or cause harm to
others, we alone should have the right to choose our own
unique pursuit of happiness. Though many seem to have
forgotten, there are still those of us who adhere to the
true principles in America's Declaration of
Independence, that the only just purpose of government
is to protect the equal inalienable rights of all.
To secure these rights, governments are instituted,
deriving their just powers from the consent of the
governed. Whenever any form of government becomes
destructive of these ends, it is the right, it is the
duty, of the people to alter or to abolish it, and to
institute new government, laying its foundation on such
principles, and organizing its powers in such form, as
to them shall seem most likely to effect their safety
and happiness.
Personal Choice asserts that everyone has free agency
and individual rights. Personal Choice expresses the
philosophy of live and let live. Personal Choice demands
that, as long as I am not hurting anyone else, only I
have a right to choose how I spend my time, my wealth,
my life, my honor.
The purpose of government is to prevent us from harming
others and to prevent others from harming us. That is
all we should expect or allow government to do. It is
not the job of government to stop us from harming
ourselves, or to make us help others. That is our
responsibility as individuals.
In pursuit of happiness, this Constitution of the
Personal Choice Party of Utah serves in perpetuity.
